Com uma pá nas mãos. Assim foi flagrado, recentemente, o escritor Paulo Coelho. Engana-se, porem, quem pensa que a experiência tem a ver com seu próximo romance. Marido atencioso e prestativo, ele cavou buracos para que sua mulher, Christina Oiticica, entrasse mais de 70 telas. A exótica técnica faz parte de um dos recursos que a pintora adotou para a exposição As Quatro Estações, inaugurada na terça, dia 9, na Galeria Mesnua, em Ljubljana, na Eslovenia.
A artista plástica se preparou durante um ano para a ova empreitada. Além de cobrir os quadros com terra, ela também amarrou alguns em troncos de árvores, deixando, assim, que a natureza interagisse e finalizasse suas peças. Sem data de chegar ao Brasil, a mostra passará primeiramente por Paris, Roma, Londres e Estados Unidos. Ainda na Eslovênia, Christina instalou a exposição Caminhos Recolhidos, na sexta, 5, na Galeria Rubnica Valley. A brasileira participa também de uma exposição fotográfica virtual no site de Casa França-Brasil, que pode ser acessada até 31 de dezembro.

Attentive and helpful husband, he dug holes for his wife, Christina Oiticica, to bury over than 70 canvases. The exotic technique is part of one of the features that the painter adopted for the exhibition The Four Seasons, inaugurated on Tuesday, 9 December, at the Mesnua Gallery in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The artist worked for a year on this new venture. In addition to covering the paintings with earth, she also tied some to tree trunks, thus allowing nature to interact and finalize her pieces. With no date to arrive in Brazil, the show will first pass through Paris, Rome, London and the United States. Still in Slovenia, Christina installed the Caminhos Recolhidos exhibition on Friday 5 December at the Gallery Rubnica Valley. The Brazilian also participates in a virtual photographic exhibition on the Casa França-Brasil website, which can be accessed until 31 December.
