O povo não tem consciência de que esta conformado. Vive sob a ilusão de que segue seus próprios pensamentos, suas próprias inclinações, define sua própria moral, chega a resultados e conclusões como se fossem produto como se fossem produto de seu próprio esforço de pensar. Se o conceito de um e igual ao da maioria, e porque este conceito contem a Verdade.

Nesta ilusão, dominado por fortissimos esquemas publicitários, religiosos, politicos, a vida social vai seguindo seu caminho. Isto não impede, porem, uma reação subterrânea as normas éticas, como consequência natural da necessidade de individualização. A sociedade aceita e prevê esta reação, fazendo apenas ressalva para que não se manifeste as claras. Principalmente no âmbito familiar, aonde as conceituações de ordem ética são as mais rígidas possíveis, a tentativa de libertação faz com que se criem novos mundos, diferentes do primeiro, como as relações extra-conjugais da esposa e do marido. Estas atitudes, apesar de não significarem nada em matéria de revolução de costumes (pois a sociedade da seu aval hipócrita), fortalecem em quem as pratica um sentimento de segurança e individualidade altamente prejudicial a qualquer tentativa de evolução.

People aren’t aware that they are compliant. They live in the delusion that they follow their own thoughts, their own inclinations, define their own morals, get results and come to conclusions as if they were the product of their own effort to think. It is the concept that one is equal to the majority and therefore this concept contains the Truth.

Under this illusion, dominated by very strong advertising, religious and political schemes, social life goes its way. This does not, however, prevent an underground reaction to ethical standards, as a natural consequence of the need for individualisation. Society accepts and foresees this reaction, only being cautious so that it does not become too visible. Especially in the family context, where ethical notions are as rigid as possible, the attempt at liberation creates new worlds, different from the first, such as extramarital relations of wife and husband. These attitudes, although they mean nothing in terms of moral revolution (because society gives its hypocritical endorsement), reinforce in those practicing them a sense of security and individuality that is highly detrimental to any attempt at evolution.
