It is a not-for-profit Foundation with the purpose to support and promote, whether in Switzerland or abroad, organisations with charitable purposes as well as projects and actions in humanitarian, charitable, social, educational and cultural fields. In particular, the Foundation intends to:

• provide assistance and support in social, cultural and humanitarian fields in any form, including the assistance and promotion of young artists, in particular Brazilian, in the development of their career;
• ensure the conservation and access by the public to the files, memorabilia and artworks of Paulo Coelho and Christina Oiticica;
• preserve, manage and promote the acquaintance of the work, the artistic and literary creations of Paulo Coelho and Christina Oiticica;
• sponsor and patronage activities fulfilling the Foundation’s objectives.

The physical Foundation itself is not open to the public, but this digital version of the Foundation is.
