Os Portais – Portals is a series of artworks based on photos of gates and portals Christina Oiticica encountered on her pilgrimage on the Road to Santiago de Compostela. She digitally enhanced these photos and added handwritten texts by Paulo Coelho (lines from his books). The works were then finished by her fellow Brazilian artist Romero Britto.

These works were displayed at the exhibitions “Os Portais” in Santiago de Compostela, Spain  (2010) and Tarbes, France (2011)
